SWTOR is a massive game with lots of contents to be explored and tasks to be finished. As such, it is very important that you are able to multi-task if you want to dominate  in this game. As you go through the course of the game, you will meet several Companions that will allow you to progress through the game much easier. Equipped with specialized skills, helpful stat bonuses and interesting story lines, your SWTOR Companions will help you further your cause in your quest for SWTOR Dominance

Each SWTOR Class has a unique set of Non-playable Companions (NPC) that can help them complete missions, craft items, gather Mats and improve their playing capabilities. From healers  to tankers and combat masters , your SWTOR Companion is an important part of your arsenal that you should learn to develop and improve. Companions are automatically controlled via AI, but you have the decision to toggle what skills you want them to use.

Just to inform you, there are a lot of tips and tricks that you should understand when dealing with your SWTOR Companions. Knowing the Crew Skill Stat Bonuses of your Companions, for example, will allow you to craft higher quality items in the least amount of time. You can also offer  your SWTOR Companion gifts and presents that can raise their level of Afffection towards you. A Companion with a high affection can turn the tide of battle in your favor and will also craft items much faster, allowing you to increase your SWTOR dominance.

Here are some SWTOR Companion FAQs that you might want to look at:

…………………………………………..

— You don’t get your Companions right away from the start. In some instances you may be able to MEET your first Companion between levels 3 and 5, but more often than not you will exchange vows with your Companions before you leave your home planet (Depends on the faction that you choose, Republic or Imperial)

.

You get your Companions gradually as you go through the course of the game. You’ll have to do specific quests and missions to be able to recruit them though so be ready to win their loyalty

.

There are Five Types of SWTOR Companion Classification depending on their specialties: Healer/Support, Melee DPS (Damage Per Second / Damage Dealer), Melee Tank,  Range DPS and Range Tank. When choosing Companions to take with you, always think of what specific skill sets you need for your current task to maximize their potential

.

Your Companions can learn Skills that you can use to your advantage (or disadvantage, if you allow them to clash with your style of play). Because Companions are controlled through AI, you must be smart in toggling the right sets of Companion skills that will suit your style of play

.

You can acquire 5 SWTOR Companions (+1 Special Droid Companion for your Starship) over the course of the game, in addition to one special Droid Companion unique to your chosen Class. You can only take ONE Companion with you at each time though

.

Although you can’t take all 5 Companions with you at the same time, you can send them over to do missions and tasks such as gathering materials and crafting items through your Crew Skills. I’d recommend you to read this SWTOR Crafting Guide if you are not familiar with SWTOR Crew Skills yet

.

You can offer Gifts to your Companions to increase their Affection towards you. Increasing your Companion’s affection decreases the time that they use to finish Crew Skills. It also opens up new Companion-specific story lines and quests, opening up much more content for you to plunge into

.

You can have a Romantic Relationship with a specific SWTOR Companion depending on your chosen class and faction. This area of SWTOR Romance can be unlocked by increasing your specific Companion’s Affection through gifts and presents. Here is a list of the Companions that can have possible Romantic Interests for your Character
